Personal Chef Services is for individuals and families that want support with providing themselves or their families with nurturing farm-to-table organic meals at home.


Weekly, bi-monthly or monthly service includes four (4) meal entrees, two (2) hearty sides and a snack or breakfast item. After an in-person consultation, assessing all your personal goals, likes and dislikes, allergies, dietary restrictions, etc., Chef Kimber will create a customized menu for you and your family. All produce is locally sourced to insure the freshest and healthiest quality for you and your family. We only use organic poultry and grass-fed beef. We abide by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch suggestions as well.

Fees There is a flat-fee for service to Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties of $350 + groceries. Out-of-area service to Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and Campbell are available as well for a service fee of $375 + groceries.

All produce, stocks and meats will be freshly procured, made from scratch and organic. If you are not happy with any of the meals you receive we welcome your kind and constructive feedback. Farmgirl services strives to create and provide meals that you enjoy. Chef Kimber will not repeat menu items within a 3-month period, unless requested. If you would like to have meals that are freezable, we are able to meet this need. Simply notify Chef Kimber of how many of your meals you’d like to be able to place in the freezer. We pride ourselves on our passion and experience with gluten-free baking. All our menus are gluten free, unless requested otherwise, and we avoid using any processed or pre-made foods.

Service Fee: $350.00 plus groceries (within Santa Cruz County), $375 for Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno or Campbell


Pricing for regular Personal Chef Clients starts at $350 plus groceries per cook/meal day, which includes all menu creation, shopping, cooking, packing up/staging meals and cleaning up your kitchen. Groceries varies from week-to-week depending on # of servings. On your cook day you can expect  to receive your menu with heating/cooking instructions, meals packed and placed in refrigerator and a clean kitchen. You will be texted later that day a total for of receipts and the total owed. Receipts will be stapled to a copy of your menu and placed into your client folder, which Chef Kimber can make available at any time and brings along on your cook day jic you’d like a copy for your records.


Packaging your meals: Reusable microwave/oven safe containers (Pyrex) are the suggested type of containers to have on-hand or purchase. The reusable containers remain at your home at all times. The client is  responsible for the purchasing of these containers. Chef Kimber will recommend which containers to purchase.

Event Menu/Meal Planning

The planning begins with the question, “What’s most important to you?” Together, we collaborate on your event details, menu development and execution. Chef Kimber will guide you through what local produce is available at the time of your event so that together you can create a sustainable and delicious menu.

Weddings, Celebration of Life, Receptions and Birthdays 

We are here to assist you and your family during these milestones of life. We have a variety of seasonal and ethnic appetizer, lunch and dinner buffet menus for you to choose from. Sample menus available upon request. Farmgirl is available for small events only, 25 guests or less.
